Initially, I was mentally prepared for the wisdom tooth surgery. yes, i'll get my left bottom wisdom tooth out. after the x-ray taken, it showed that the top left wisdom tooth is slightly crooked as well. it was a mixture of feelings. the dentist explain to me the cost and everything. of cus it'll be better to get both teeth out today so it'll lessen the pain next time.
they say the most painful part is when he injects into ur gums to numb it. why didnt anyone tell me he's gona inject 4 times?! yes, he's encouraging me all the way. first he puts vaseline on my lips to prevent dryness, then he injects my gums.. the feeling of numb-ness. the drilling.. extraction.. took abt 15mins. then he asked, "so u want me to extract the upper tooth as well?, are u okay?". I nodded. then he had to inject me another 4 times at the upper left gum. -_____- actually it doesnt really hurt much. but it was certainly faster than the bottom.
i bit the gauze in my mouth and got up. there was my teeth. the lower one was drilled into 4 pieces and the top one looks rather long. i requested to keep them for memory's sake n to frighten my mom n brother.
i was prescribed 3 different types of medicine. im required to take 2 tablets of each, 3 times a day. "WAH!" which means i'll consume 18 tablets a day for 5 days. and i was told to finish all the medication. =S
Another depressing damage - $454 for the total bill. from the x-ray-surgery-pills.. and now my mouth is filled with BLOOD. it's been bleeding since 2.15pm and now is already 7pm. the asthetics has already stopped, which means my gums dont feel numb. which also means i can feel the pain. really terrible. and i had to give my dinner appt a miss. really sorry girls. hope u guys will understand.
oh yes, im given 6 days medical leave. i was so shocked. but i doubt i'll use it since there's so much at work. i'll prolly take half days off n return home early next week. oh well.. just hope the bleeding stops now cus im really hungry! and the left side of my face looks a little bloated. its so saddening. im gotta cancel all my appts. =(
good bye to hard foods for now.. i'll probably take all the baby foods.. oh yes, i still have to go back next week to remove the stitches.. sigh.
